This day is designed for veterinary surgeons and consultants to bring herd mastitis ‘cases’ for group discussion and gain specialist advice. The day is also designed for new Mastitis Control Plan Deliverers who need to complete their training (previously attended a training ‘Day 1′ but have yet to attend the second day). Also, existing Mastitis Control Plan Deliverers will find this day useful as an opportunity to refresh their approach to implementing the Plan on their clients’ farms, and benefit from assistance with data interpretation, discussion of Plan priorities and sharing of ideas. Experienced Plan Deliverers have found these interactive workshops stimulating, and their contributions to the discussions are always welcomed.
Delegates who wish to complete their training will be expected to prepare a herd case example, including clinical mastitis and cell count data as well as bacteriology if available, and a mastitis control ‘ePlan’, to be submitted in advance. They will then give a short informal presentation at the interactive online event. Please be assured full confidentiality of information will be maintained. All delegates will be required to sign an agreement not to record the session.
For registered Mastitis Control Plan Deliverers, this course can be selected as one of your CPD training days included in the cost of your individual or practice subscription.
This course counts as the ‘Day 2’ to complete training for delivery of the Mastitis Control Plan.
